Be more proactive. | Be more intentional. | Be more responsive.

Are you ready to break free from reactive patterns and embrace intentional, proactive teaching? Throughout this course, you'll discover effective strategies for proactively responding to classroom behavior, rather than reacting in the heat of the moment. Embrace self-regulation techniques tailored specifically for teachers, and say hello to a learning environment where intentionality takes the lead, leaving reactive patterns behind.
Throughout this course, you will:
  • Develop an understanding of & be able to articulate the difference between a reaction and a response.
  • Identify ways to stay calm & collected as an educator.
  • Learn the importance of self-regulation and how to self-regulate.
  • Develop a strong, yet simple understanding of brain behavior.
  • Practice vocabulary to use empathetic listening vs. dismissive listening in order for a person to feel heard.
  • Understand the significance of coregulation as a mechanism to work through behavior, and create a collection of coregulation strategies.
  • Practice the art of setting boundaries so you can respond instead of react.
