The Anxious Generation Book Study
In this collaborative professional learning experience, educators will engage in a guided book study of The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood Is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness by Jonathan Haidt. Through thoughtful discussion and critical analysis, participants will explore the cultural, developmental, and psychological impacts of rising screen use, social media, and declining real-world play on today’s youth.
This course includes required reading of the book, "The Anxious Generation" by Jonathan Haidt and three 1.5 hour Zoom discussion sessions.
